Anybody know any good boat rentals available on Belton Lake? Also what kind of restrictions do they put on that ie Boating license, etc... Will be in town next friday with some guys and we're looking for a fun day out on the lake.

Try Pier 36 Marina at Cedar Ridge Park. Never used it, but they are the only ones I know.

Oh, and there really is no such thing as a boating license in Texas, just a boater safety course. You have to be at least 13 years of age and born after September 1, 1993.

You might contact BLORA and see what you can find out. They have some reasonable prices if I remember correctly.

you should try an call a week in advance to rent a boat too. i've done it a couple times and have been told they are almost always full by 7 days out for a weekend.

We actually tried to rent a boat from Cedar Ridge for this weekend but they called last week to cancel it. Evidently someone wrecked their boat a couple of weeks ago.

is there a difference between that boat-ed site mentioned or www.boaterexam.com or taking a course with the Coast Guard?
