Eh, it's one of those things to do if you're in town and have time. Excellent plate lunch for $8, and you get a HUGE portion of homemade fried chicken, sausage, green beans, cole slaw, and their signature noodles (spaghetti pasta baked into a breaded hot casserole type dish - VERY good). Also get tea and a dessert, usually cake. Good stuff!
Outdoors there are little midway type games - ring toss around coke bottles, throw baseball at metal bottles, etc. There is a polka band early, beer tent, snow cone stand, and an auction of donated stuff.
Certainly not West Fest, but a nice little Sunday outing on the Central Texas prairie with the family...
