How long do you want to ignore this user?
If you haven't been out yet today you better hurry! Chicken, sausage, and especially the Noodles were GREAT!

Always have wanted to make that. Alas, I was driving back from Shreveport today.

Eh, it's one of those things to do if you're in town and have time. Excellent plate lunch for $8, and you get a HUGE portion of homemade fried chicken, sausage, green beans, cole slaw, and their signature noodles (spaghetti pasta baked into a breaded hot casserole type dish - VERY good). Also get tea and a dessert, usually cake. Good stuff!

Outdoors there are little midway type games - ring toss around coke bottles, throw baseball at metal bottles, etc. There is a polka band early, beer tent, snow cone stand, and an auction of donated stuff.

Certainly not West Fest, but a nice little Sunday outing on the Central Texas prairie with the family...
