I cancelled my Trib sub a long time ago, but will still read the paper on the weekends at some point. To me, Cherry is the only objective writer on the sports staff when it comes to Baylor and college football. I realize I don't live in College Station, and Waco is a Baylor town, but coverage of the Aggies has been non existent this year in the Trib. Maybe i expect too much, but Cherry finally gave the Aggies their due, and you don't have to pay to read it. Great read.

That and the "divorce" story in the star telegram were my two favorite game write ups.

Baylor is not exactly covered in the Eagle either. The Baylor faithful are very much in denial though.

The difference is that there are tons of Aggies in the Waco area. Also, it appeared to me that the Trib was making a point of not covering the Aggies. The paper probably realizes that they care more about the bottom line than Baylor.

Big difference between the Eagle not covering Baylor and the way the Trib "doesn't cover" A&M. Some very vile articles written about A&m in that paper in the past. It's why I don't subscribe any more.

There was nothing in yesterday's paper about the Ags first SEC men's basketball win (not even a box score), but the women losing to UK yesterday had a good size article.
