I've called a couple places and, because of the heat, they won't do any outside electrical work. I need some light fixtures changed and a couple of smaller electrical tasks done. Anyone know of anybody? I am in Waco.

Wow...is that true? The heat?

Let us know if someone actually takes the job.

Unbelievable that they say it's the heat! Hello, electricians....it's hot in Texas and water is wet!

I'm looking at building a shed in the back yard , and I'm wanting to run power to it so I can install lights and a window a/c.

Do I need s permit from city for this, how much would this run and ant recommendations??

Yes you need a permit. The big expense for the electric is the wire. Depending on how long the run is, I would say $300 or so should get it done.

You'll likely need a permit for the accessory building as well as an electrical permit for the electrical work.
