Where is the best place to see a fireworks show in Central Texas?

Probably Fort Hood. But it's usually crowded there.

The only one I can speak to from experience is Temple. It's at miller park. Bring a blanket, cooler, grab a funnel cake, sit on the grass, and enjoy. Very comfortable...

Miller park.

Wacos is okay, parking sucks and last year the hooligans came out and had a mini "riot" afterwards.

miller's is great, but hard to get in and out of the neighborhood afterwards. bout to head there in a few.

did anybody go to the Belton parade today?

if so, how'd you like the tea partiers walking around with their AR-15's beforehand?

Miller show was good tonight. In laws live across the steet so we just hang out there all day and don't have to worry about parking or leaving in traffic.

I worked at the belton parade and festival but didn't get to see the open carry guys? I'm assuming that's the "tea party" group you are asking about?

The festival was fun, the fiddle competition is always cool to listen too, and we had a good day at work!

Yes soul that was what I was referring to. I'm extremely pro second amendment rights but that sort of display is not good rhetoric moving forward for either side.

Soulslave,

what do you do, if you don't mind me asking? Seems like your always in the heart of public events?

Don't mind at all.

I am an account consultant for Carter BloodCare. I work with companies, schools and organizations to host blood drives for our local hospitals.

This usually means being out in the public arena at events to help promote awareness and donorship.
