Howdy all!

My name is Joel Utz and I am the coach for the Texas 4H Hunting and Wildlife Team representing our great state at the National 4H Shooting Sports Match this summer. One of my shooters is from Falls County, one from Bexar County, and one from Hood County.

I have 4 great youth shooters from all over the state that are working hard up to keep the tradition of Texas dominating the National Match. Texas has won the overall Sweepstakes Trophy for 13 of the last 14 years. In addition to our Hunting Team, there are rifle, pistol, shotgun, archery, and muzzleloading teams.

Our Hunting and Wildlife Team will compete in a 22 Rifle match, a Sporting Clays match, a 3D Archery match as well as take exams over Hunter Skills and Safety, Wildlife ID, and Hunter Decision Making.

Here's how you can help the Hunting and Wildlife team out. We are holding a benefit drawing (since the word raffle is bad now) to help raise money for travel expenses to Nebraska, as well as practice costs.
