Any good suggestions on a mechanic in this area? I think I'm getting taken to the cleaners by firestone. Even if i'm not, I am not very pleased with the service and lack of communication on fixing what (I would think) is not a very major problem.

Any suggestions apprecitated.

I recently had some work done at Quick Wrench Automotive in downtown Temple and was satisfied. A friend at work had some work done at Ponder's in Temple and also was satisfied.

Used M&B in Belton several times, not one complaint. As said, IMO they are honest. When they figure out what is wrong, they get on it pretty quick. They always have called to say it's ready before the time frame they quoted.

Very busy place, usually have to make an appointment.

M&B has been my go to for a long time. honest and fair pricing, longtime Belton owners.

When i worked in Belton it was great because it was close to my job.

That being said if i'm in Temple i would recommend Wiseners.

Kabler is THE place to go in Temple.

Only use firestone for tires, rotation and balancing.

DO NOT use them for anything else.

I wouldn't (and don't) use them for anything. For tires, either Troy's or Maguire.
