Nice area down by the suspension bridge with a few bars, etc
Cameron park zoo for a day date
Find a cool festival going on..
Margarita and salsa, brew at the zoo, etc.
Mcc has some cool cont. ed classes like beer tasting/wine tasting/cooking

Dr Pepper Museum then a stop at the soda fountain...Sports Hall of Fame, Ranger Museum
There is a business downtown that rents kayaks, canoes, etc. for the river. Have not done this personally but several friends have said they did this and had a great time.
If its a date, make sure the weather works with you. It's 90 degrees for the next month, so don't know many people that like sweat on their dates. Very cliche, but dinner and a couple drinks downtown is always the go to. I have been very impressed with Muddle for drinks
What makes muddle drinks good? Are they inexpensive? Do they put a lot of booze in them?

I guess their prices are in line with other bars. When I go out, a couple bucks doesn't mean anything to me. If I like the atmosphere, I am going back. If .50 per drink is going to keep you from going to a place you like, then I suggest you stay home

Not that I'm a big mixed drink guy. I'll take an IPA pretty much any time

Let me reiterate..."First Date" ideas for Waco...evening time.
These suggestions aren't good for a 1st date?
