cmon capt. when you gonna start giving Holland some attention? they are having a jam up season!

Dublin has the best QB in the district, passing wise and has the receivers to go with it. We (Marlin) kept him from getting hot until the last half of the 4th quarter. If we had scored on our opening drive of the second, they would have never have tied it. Rogers physicalness will give them trouble, but if Dublin can get hot early, it will be a game.

I coach for Marlin and despite losing bad to Rogers, I gave #8 a big ol hug after the game since I coached him in Temple when he was in 7th grade.

We have to shut down Jarrell's running QB and make them pass. If we can do that, we'll win. If not it'll be another shootout.

\ Most of the team has been here since kinder. Some are third generation and maybe fourth. But we do have a few that came in after 7th grade. The one you mention has been here at least since 10th because he was my student that year.

Liberty Hill beat Boerne tonight in a high scoring game. LH locked up a playoff berth.

When was the last time Academy made the playoffs? I feel like they've been terrible for the last couple of decades.

Went to the temple/waco game. How's the temple QB, he went down and it looked bad?

Temple is a poor tackling team. Waco gashed that defense repeatedly.

What is Rogers record and who do they have left. I think I picked them to go 6-4 on here and was blasted. Think they might actually finish a but better than I predicted.

Had those first two losses, then made some major changes and have not lost again.

So BE and Jarrell remaining......worse case scenario is one and one so will finish either 8-2 or 7-3.

Better than I predicted.

Jarrell is good enough to beat Rogers. I don't know if they will or not but I'm predicting a high scoring game. We were down 26-20 after a fluke FG by them and the refs screwing up our two point conversion. Second half, our kids were flat and couldn't tackle and we didn't score again. Jarrell has a very tiny but quick NG that manhandled our center in the second half.

That being said. We expect to beat Clifton and B-E and make the playoffs.

Rogers went away from what theyve been doing well over the last several years, which is running the ball. They have since returned to running the ball, hence the return to winning
