They're out there...
quote:On that stretch, that now means hogs. And they are like hitting a brick wall.
"Wildlife" could mean the occasional raccoon, possum, or buzzard
Deer are somewhat rare, but their population in east bell county has increased dramatically since 20 years ago, when deer were virtually non-existent out there
You do see deer around the Milam County portion of 485 sometimes
As for cops, when I posted the OP, I had just seen one county and one state with people pulled over
It's rare to see LE out there, but every once in awhile you do

Good grief, people. It's not THAT bad.
I've travelled that road for decades
Just watch what you're doing
It's no worse than any other FM Road
quote:I really wish they would but at least for now with the 4 Way stop no one has died.....I think it was put in some time late last summer.

My dad worked for Bell Co. Sheriff's Dept. for 27 years and that was one of the main things I remember him talking into me about driving between Belton and CS. It's not a great intersection.
quote:This is the same crossing that collapsed, correct?
"S" curve under the train overpass at the county line on 36 between Rogers and Buckolts. Seen some bad kimshee there.
Ya'll need to start taking FM 2095 to Gause.

people are stupid driving on that road. It has way too much traffic, too many 18 wheelers for a small road
