Looking at getting a small slab poured in my yard (probably 12'x12'). Anyone have any recommendations in the area or guys to avoid?

That is really small job for most folks. I would call the ready mix plant and ask them to recommend someone who would do it if doing it yourself is not an option.

Ditto......best bet for a job that small is to find a buddy that might have a little bit of concrete experience and promise him a case of his favorite brew.

That's why I was asking...figured it was a bit small for most of the big guys. I guess a DIY job isn't out of the realm of possibility...trying to expand a patio in the backyard and I've never messed with concrete. Would hate to mess it up.
