My stepdaughter was recently told that she is pre-diabetic & I am concerned that she isn't getting the best advice/support to help her improve her situation. Unfortunately, I'm in Houston and have never lived in Brownwood. I'm hoping my Aggie Family can help me out. She has insurance through BCBSTX if that helps at all.

And if you are an Aggie from San Angelo or Abilene, chances are you have been through Brownwood many times more than an Aggie from Killeen/Temple/Waco has

Brownwood is definitely not well represented on TA; though I take umbrage to calling it west Texas. It's very near the geographic center of the state. What can you do...

Anyway, Yeah Brownwood is east of those places. But closer to them than they are to, say, Waco or temple

I guess it's whatever region culturally the Brownwoodian decides to identify with on any given day
