Specifically Xristo's. Had a very good gyro and some hummus and pita wedges. Excellent addition to Waco. And very nice on a day like today. Right there by the river is a perfect spot for them too. Waco has come a long way since I was growing up. There's actually some decent places to eat now with some variety.

Killeen has "Food Truck Fridays", and Temple will have some set up at their market days downtown

Also try Crawfish Express. He sets up Friday's & Saturday's at the corner of 2271 & 2305. Across from Kevin's restaurant. It's very good and the boiled shrimp is great too.
