But what's the plan upstream?

The areas around 2d Avenue and Central Avenue still look cluttered with concrete, rocks, and debri

Certainly not something that a tuber or kayaker would safely navigate

Are they going to do enhancements in that area, and other areas upstream?

It's perfectly safe for boogie boards.

A bit of an update. I ate at the gin last night and there are people tubing about 150 yards with a single chute now. Very small scale but there were about 4-5 families doing it over and over for about an hour.

Progress I guess.

On an unrelated note another Texager and I put our initials in the cement as it was setting on the seating facing the creek and it made it through the drying and all the rains.

I saw a lot of people out there today with tubes. All could think about is E. coli.
