Gf got a ticket there this week. Is it the ordinary course to get a citation and then not find out the amount for a week?

IIRC, yes. You have to wait and call th municipal court folks. I think it can be paid out though. Nice folks there usually.

Yes. You can call in and get the amount after. I've only had to do it twice in 10 years but municipal court has always been easy to deal with.
