There's plenty of information about the project, but they don't talk about the exit removal anywhere else. I don't mind if you combined Central and 6th, it would be a bit more inconvenient, but exiting at Midway for Belton would be an awful idea.

That entire section, North and South bound, is an absolute mess.

i'll give a bit "understanding" to not expecting the influx of thousands of people to the area before it completed in 2018(?) but they screwed up bigly by not just doing everything 4 lanes at the time.

I avoid 35 from Buccees to 190 like the plague.

If I have to go North I usually take the backrouds from 317, but will if necessary cut over to I35 on HWY 7 or Dodgen North at Buccees. If I have to go South towards the land of the t-sips I take 121 to the Exp. Anything in between is just east west overpasses, either S Dodgen Lp to 31st or 6th Ave.

I bet I can count on one hand how many times I have driven 35 between Buccees and 190 in the last three years.
