I had my pinion seal and both axle seals replaced last week on my 2006 Rubicon (60K miles). I still see fluid pooling on my U Joint (passenger side) at the end of my axle after driving.

I'm $1000 in on this "repair" and still have the same problem. I'll go back to the mechanic but curious on what you guys think may be the issue. My gut tells me the passenger axle seal was either the wrong part or it was damaged. Can diff fluid leak like this from any other cause besides a seal?

I nicked a seal on my old subaru doing an axle replacement, certainly probable that the seal was damaged.

I once had a clogged breather on a Nissan that caused me to leak fluid out the seals.
