What would be the best way to fix water leaking inside my truck every time it rains. I am unable to locate where exactly it is coming in but every time it rains my truck has that musty smell to it. Is it worth taking it in to a mechanic? Or just leave it be?

My sons 2012 has started doing the same thing. It's usually 1 of 2 things. The rear light in the middle of the cab above the back window is notorious for leaking. In my sons case, it appears its the rear window itself has the seals leaking. I need to call a glass company and see how much they charge to reseal that rear window for him.

Yea...I had to replace the rear light in the middle of the cab recently. I bet that is what did it.

My '13 has started to do it. Pretty convinced it's a failed seal at the corner of the rear window and not the center light as is also common.

The fix doesn't look hard, just kind of a pain

I train a lot of people on troubleshooting...and this hits on my number 1 emphasis when training. If you just did something, it doesn't matter how innocent it is, or simple of a repair it was, and now some new problem has mysteriously shown up. The first place to look and concentrate all your effort on at the beginning of the troubleshooting is whatever it was you just did, and from there go backwards to the second most recent thing you did. 8 times out of 10, the new problem has something to do with the repair of the old problem.
