I train a lot of people on troubleshooting...and this hits on my number 1 emphasis when training. If you just did something, it doesn't matter how innocent it is, or simple of a repair it was, and now some new problem has mysteriously shown up. The first place to look and concentrate all your effort on at the beginning of the troubleshooting is whatever it was you just did, and from there go backwards to the second most recent thing you did. 8 times out of 10, the new problem has something to do with the repair of the old problem.
