Not a fan of anything orange, but I think this does look like it will be worth checking out.
Glad they kept the V6, but I am curious they label it the Gen2 3.5, is it now the same generation V6 as the Pilot? The 'old' (or 2024) model had the older version, and I've read some criticism of that one.
Edit; this guy does great reviews imho and is why I posted a question about the engine on the new one.
Bumping this thread as I sat in one of the new 2026 Honda Passport Trailsports yesterday and would seriously consider buying one for the wife.
This thing is really compelling. Honda gave the people what they asked for in keeping the naturally aspirated V6 with a great AWD system. No 4-cylinder engines, no turbos, no hybrid, no CVT, etc. I'm a big guy and had plenty of headroom in there even with the sunroof (which I despise all sunroofs but alas). A two row SUV for those that don't want a third row and plenty of cargo space in the back. It is unibody though, so know that.
Lots more room in this thing than the 6th generation 4Runner and it costs less as well. Honda recently did a press event in Puerto Rico and here's the TFL video from that.
