I've got a '15 Mustang GT Convertible.
Last week the compressor clutch fried and I had it replaced. Now when I start the A/C, it smells moldy? for a few seconds each time.

What's going on with this?

might be a coincidence? had you been using it regularly prior to the compressor grenading?

i'd first check and make sure the drain isn't clogged up and dripping freely underneath

Spray Lysol or Ozium in the fresh air vents at the base of the windshield outside should clean that up for a few months.
