After 258,000 miles on my 2015 F-150, I'm finally needing some new pads. Which ones does the board recommend? Something that will last a while. Hoping to keep driving it until the wheels fall off.

258,000 miles? Sounds like you should replace them with the exact same ones.

If you really got anywhere close to 258k without changing pads, replace the rotors during this job too. Probably safe to do that anyways.

I recently replaced our Expy pads with OEM Ford pads. Excellent performance and low dust.

How do you rate the quality of brake pads?
Longevity or emergency braking distance?
Would shortest braking distance matter the most?
Google shows Akebono as one of the shortest braking distance pads. I've never heard of em. Any good?

I had always used Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramics but the last set I got was super disappointing. I've never had so much brake dust in my life, plus they weren't exactly 'quiet'.

Akebono is great. They're OE on many applications.
