Looking to buy a car for my elderly Mom. She's been a big Honda person as have I but I got a 2020 Palisade that has been an incredible vehicle that has really impressed me. There are some great deals on 2024 Sonata's remaining on lots and pretty much all they have for Accords are 2025's without much incentives. She just needs a nice and reliable transportation option in a sedan that's safe, she doesn't put a ton of miles on it and this will likely be her last vehicle that can go for 10 or so years or until she stops driving (she's a very spry 86). She also really likes my 360 Camera on my Palisade and they have that on the Convenience package Sonata's and I think I can get one for about $24k vs in the $30's for a comparable 2025 Accord.
I'm open to other options as well. I'd be fine with a low miles used Accord for instance but they have such strong resale value it doesn't save a ton. Also really like the warranty on the Hyundai. She doesn't like Toyotas btw.
I'll also be helping her to sell her Honda CRV (she wants a sedan and not an SUV) which is going to be a sweet deal for someone as "Grandma's car she bought new and drove to church and maintained" type of deal. I'm guessing the dealer will make an offer but lowball the hell out of me, it's a 2018 with 41k miles.
