Decided to sell my daughter's g37x because she is transferring to a college that is farther from home and I will feel more comfortable with her in something newer for the drive.
As stated in the other post, this car has been pretty bulletproof. Just did some maintenance stuff, because this wasn't really the plan until recently. I did the plugs and coils myself, it's pretty easy to work on. Usually did the oil changes when I had time.
The main downsides as a parent are that it prefers premium gas. Been told they are fine on regular but I always used premium and think it runs better on it. And that it is pretty powerful. Had a bit of a learning curve with the daughter about that. But she did good and didn't get tickets.
If she were still in hs or going to OU I would keep her in it. Heck, have even considered taking it back for me, except we have decided we want a truck for a while
Take a look if you have a kid coming up on 16!
