If we went with another sales associate if you are not happy with the one you have? looking at a new car, but had a phone conversation yesterday with the associate i had been dealing with and he mad me mad.

Not uncommon. I've done that more than once.
It was a little awkward when I saw them at the dealership...but I figured, who cares?...I'll never see them again.

Conversely, the last car I bought, I was working with a guy via Email but when I showed up to the dealership, he was busy with another customer so he sent me to somebody else.

I am looking at a new Lexus RX 350 here in San Antonio. The car is in high demand so the only way i could get a car soon, is if I get the car as a demo from the Valero Open (since Lexus sponsors it). So basically they take new cars, leave them at the airport and have the golfers tht come in, drive it to teh JW Marriot and back.
I put $1k to reserve a specific car. The saleman was not nice. I do not want him to get my commission.

We got my wife her new GX from Northpark Lexus about 2 months ago. Sherry Cogburn was our sales associate. Pretty easy to work with.
If a salesperson is off putting, they aren't doing their job well at all.
We did this the last time we bought a car. Got approached by a salesman immediately and the vibe was off. We saw another guy we liked and asked him if he would be willing to work with us. He talked to the sales manager and they agreed to make the switch. Ended up buying a car from them, his 3rd sale of the day lol.
If a car salesman pissed me off I would make sure he knew I went with someone else.
They may also use those demos daily in their service department as loaner cars. I know my wife always gets one at Northside Lexus in Houston.
Call around- Northside and west side Lexus in Houston and Sewell lexus in Dallas and the other in Plano.

I called Park Place Lexus (Plano) and they had a car with the same trim on the ground there, but the car i would get here has better PIO ( like, its already tinted, has a film on the car for bump protection) for the same price.
The manager said that they were brand new cars and they are already staged here at the airport. I mean, we'll see when I see the car in person.

Called the manager, said he'd take care of it but I think he pawned me off to the assistant to the ******* sales associates
