My son is a student at Texas A&M and needs a reputable, but low priced mechanic to replace the pulleys and serpentine belt on his F150. He has the parts, but we didn't have the time to replace them ourselves this weekend.

Brazos Valley Automotive is where I've gone for years for things I don't want to diy. Always honest and thorough. I wouldn't describe them as cheap but I've never felt like i over paid and they don't try to upsell you on useless garbage.

I have used Aggieland Automotive off and on since around 2002 for repairs not covered by manufacturer warranty. They provide great customer service, fair pricing, and are generally pretty quick with repairs.

I always had good experiences with Stratta's when my kids were at A&M. Not the fanciest place but their prices were very reasonable and I trusted sending my kids there. I ordered a transmission from Ford once and had it delivered to Stratta's and the did the install. I don't recall what the exact labor charge was but it was less than I was expecting.

Same and let's you bring ur own parts. Which many places don't.
