Bought this last year at the end of hail season. Forecast a high chance of hail in the SA area tonight. Was easy to put up. Maybe 10 minutes and totally inflated in about 12.

I don't wish hail on you, but I'm super curious how well it works IRL.
We had marble sized hail last night and I stood outside watching the hoopties stored outside get pelted. Thankfully I didn't see any damage today but that dread feeling is no fun.

I thought the thread title said "Trump condom" and was expecting a custom wrap job.
Because my truck has oversized wheels and tires and is lifted, I purchased the largest protector. It's going for $650 now with a -$30 promo.
Seems like alot for what it is, but likely about the same as most deductibles.
If you would have told me after last years hail in Georgetown that I could pay $650 to not have to deal with insurance or PDR places, I woulda paid it in a second.

That last major hail storm inundated repair facilities. It was a year before I could get my truck in last time. My wife and daughter got caught at high school dance practice. Her caddy was beat to holy hell and back. This truck is the only one that isn't garaged. Like you said. It's mainly so I don't have to deal with insurance and repairs. It comes with a 12v adapter with 3 hours of protection. But I'm not lugging this thing anywhere. If I get caught in a hail storm away from home then it's gods will.

I've had one for years. It's legit. Like take a bowling ball from the top of the house legit. Softball hail would be no issue. We can put it on in about 2mins and it's inflated in 10.
It's just the rubber band tires. They need more sidewall with the lift. It looks out of proportion now with the massive fender gap. Like a teenager who could only afford a lift kit.AGpops1923 said:

That's where we differ. I can't stand fat tires. Even on my Harley Ive got big wheels. I prefer steel over metal.

the wheels let you know 4wd will go bad before it gets used.
