Out of the blue I started the truck yesterday and I got two warnings:

• Pre-Collision System malfunction. Visit your dealer
• Trailer Brake Error

Truck is also riding very rough. There's a shaking/shimmying coming from the back, like I'm driving on a dirt road?

I went to a bunch of forums and this seems to be a common issue, so has anyone had this or know how to fix besides taking it into the dealership?

I haven't seen that in my 2019.

I would try checking battery for corrosion and disconnecting negative terminal for 10 minutes to reset ecm . See if issue persists.

If it does there may be a wiring issue for the rear speed sensor. Possibly debris between sensor and reluctor wheel.

Try cleaning all of the bumper sensors, cameras and the area on exterior windshield where the black radar looking box sits on the exterior of the truck. I had this error once on a 2018 and it was a dirty front sensor/camera on the grill. The other sensor/camera is on the tailgate and then there are some sensors on the bumpers if I recall. I always had to keep the ones on the grill and on the tailgate clean.

Did find out there is a fuel pump recall on this model that "could" be causing stalling, reduced power that can interfere with the sensors. Taking it in to a dealer when I can and hopefully this can be corrected.

You're going to tolerate the poor performance until a dealer can look at it?

Have you considered trying the EASY route first, and trying the recommendations of the other posters?

I did, they didn't work.....

you don't have to use the dealer to fix this. do you not have a good indy shop near you?

Dealer is for the free recall on the fuel pump, that I'm surmising is the root cause of the errors its throwing

have you experienced stalling or reduced power? I didn't gather that on your OP. it would make no sense to me for those to be related

its predicting your crash if you attach a trailer.

RATS! It's GD rats!

They chewed a bunch of the wiring to the fuel injectors which is why it's running like I'm going over speed bumps, and causing all kinds of other warnings/codes to throw and all the engine warnings.
