I placed a special order with the dealership down the street from me.
An email arrived today that strongly implies, without stating, that the vehicle arrived today (I doubt it on Memorial day, but...)
During my wait, about a week ago, they sent an email with a very attractive price that includes the VIN. This price was also reflected on the dealership website, which I printed. I also visited the dealership and confirmed the price. Unfortunately this was with another salesperson; the usual guy was "on vacation for two weeks"
Today, the dealership website reflects a significantly higher price (+$7,500, 16% more than the deal) and indicates both "Not in stock - In transit" as well as "In stock".
If they balk at honoring the phantom "Today's Price" deal for a vehicle they couldn't sell "Today", what is the best way, if any, to leverage my printout of their own website and the email?
1ags? Any advice?
