Going to be parking and disconnecting the battery for about 3 months. Wondering if y'all recommend fuel stablizer for it during that time? If so, which one? No ethanol free fuel nearby.

I've always used Sta-Bil. I used it in gas that sits for up to a year (ethanol free). But I believe for ethanol fuels it will easily handle 3 months. Check the label online to be sure.

I have fuel cans I filled up this time last year and I'm burning the fuel off now to refill for hurricane season. I did not put stabil in them and the fuel is still good. With that said I'll be doing it this year. The stuff is so cheap no reason not to

Make sure you run the car for a bit after adding it to the tank. You want make sure it gets into the fuel injectors and the rest of the fuel system.

Also, over-inflate your tires to prevent flat spots. That's what auto manufacturers do when the vehicle leaves the factory.

I use seafoam. It has never let me down and my boat would sit for longer than 3 months.

Don't know where you are, but ethanol-free gas is pretty widespread

Southern California - based on that list nearest is at least a few hours away.

Wow, sorry. I don't know why, unless CA has some weird laws. You'd think there would at least be a marina with some

But then, given how expensive ethanol free is, and how expensive gas is there, you can buy a lot of Sta-BIL for the price of a tank of ethanol free in California

Haha, yeah. The gas station around the corner from where I live is 5.19 for regular right now. On base it's 4.29. Always wonder about purchasing name brand/top tier fuel vs the stuff on base, given nearly a dollar/tank difference. Or just buying a fuel additive a couple times a year. Anytime I'm in a normal state I try to stick to top tier.
