~205k miles

P0325 code popped up yesterday. Knock sensor circuit malfunction. Everything sounds fine, but the engine is definitely lacking in power.

Is this possibly just the sensor? Any recommendations for a shop in Houston to take a look? Anything to check/try before taking it to a shop?

The car isn't worth that much, and is primarily used for hauling baseball players and my dog, so don't want to spend a ton.

Unfortunately, I believe replacement requires removing the intake manifold otherwise I'd start there. Any idea how to test them in place?

If the wiring is good you can possibly test the sensor at the leads to a degree with the service manual and a multimeter.

Anybody have a good mechanic they would recommend for this in Houston?
