2022 F150 with 3.5L boost, ~53,000 miles...
Got an alert 2 weeks ago for "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" on my way home from work. I couldn't tell anything wrong with how it was driving, so drove the rest of the way home. Drove around the neighborhood later that evening, and the error persisted, with no symptoms at neighborhood speeds.
I had a couple of weeks of working remote nights, so I put it on a trickle charger. The next day, I decided I that I should just make time and take it in, but when I started it up, the error cleared, so I decided to hold off. The app now says no alerts, and my OBD reader doesn't find any codes. Have driven it a few times, and it hasn't come back.
Should I take it in to have it looked over, or is this more likely some transient sensor error? If there's a powertrain issue, I'd obviously like to get it fixed before the PT warranty expires.
