Does anyone else with the new LandCruiser find the cabin temp to get too hot in the summer and slow to cool down?

I know it's August in Texas, so my expectations are limited. But it feels like anytime I park outside for a while it gets so hot inside and does not cool down very quickly once the AC is on.

I've wondered about replacing the existing tint with something ceramic to help keep it cooler.

Just wondered if anyone else has noticed anything similar?

Dang, sorry to hear this, I was JUST looking at these today in contemplation as to whether I wanted to trade in the old Expedition for a new LC. Bad AC is a deal breaker though. Also, I can't really tell how big these are? Are they like the size of a 4 runner/Explorer? Or are they full size like a Tahoe, Expedition?

They are comparable in size to a 4runner.

I don't notice this problem but I have aftermarket tint on the front windows and use a sunshade on the windshield. Also have the leather/seat coolers so that may help.

Honestly the AC seems overly cold to me at times and I have to turn it up to 70-72 vs keeping it always on LO

May or may not be the same issue as my wife's GX but the AC was in some default eco mode that we had to change

UVS100 when parked. Ceramic tint on windows and sunroof.

Crack windows teensy bit when parked.

Recirculate the A/C when really hot.

A/C's ability to cool is limited to a certain delta T, switching the inlet to the conditioned space helps a bunch.

Maybe Ecozap will be along soon to sell you his magical AC elixer.
