Overfilled Oil Issues

Took my truck (2015 Tacoma) in for an oil change on Friday at the normal shop I use and it appears they overfilled the oil by a quart.

Noticed a bit of a pulsation or vibration at idle after the change so I took it back in today and they redid the oil change.

Drove ~150 to 200 miles on it over the weekend. Should I be worried about the longevity of the engine / issues?

pulsation or vibration at idle

Likely crankshaft webs hitting oil.

I've never heard of too much oil being a problem.

Overfilled oil is definitely a problem, but not sure how much over is where it gets dangerous.

Try to suck some out of the dipstick tube, remove oil filters a couple times after running, or drain it all into a clean bucket (maybe w/ a trash bag in it) and refill the correct amount.

Generally, the 'correct amount' should end up in the middle of the safe zone on the dipstick. I need to add at least 1.5 qts to get to the top of that zone, 2 qts would be over. Neither would concern me any. In fact, I generally use the dipstick as the metric, not how many qts. Obviously a smaller engine/pan will dictate how much is too much. But if they fixed it and its now right, send it.

Only if you hit a low oil pressure point from foaming.

Check engine light or low oil pressure never came on while driving. Other than the slight vibration at idle I never noticed anything.

Freightliner put the wrong dipstick on our replacement diesel Sprinter engine and the result was that they overfilled the oil. Engine overheated immediately and caused the oil pan gasket to leak. Luckily no permanent damage.
