Occasional grinding feeling from new pads and rotors after installation

It's been about 2 weeks since I got new pads and rotors on all four wheels on my Honda accord. 95% of the time the braking feels great but randomly I will start the car and go to hit the brakes and feel and hear a noticeable grinding coming from the front. It's not consistent but I'm guessing this is not normal after multiple weeks using the brakes. Anything I can look for or should I just take it back to the shop and have them check it out?

Been trying to figure out a pattern with it. Can't really come up with much other than it does seem to happen in the initial period after starting the car. But again, it feels mostly random as far as when it happens. I had been driving home from work today on the highway for a good 45 minutes and had no issues, but when I stopped to go to Walmart and spent about 30 minutes in the store, I came back out and immediately noticed the grinding feeling when I was merging onto the highway. If that provides any clues......

Pull the wheel off & see if the caliper is loose or any other obvious issue.

New rotors too or were they just turned?
I had O'Reilly's turn some rotors for me awhile back and a similar thing happened. For some reason, they didn't turn the whole rotor smooth and left a small lip of metal on the inner portion of the rotors. Took them back and had them re-turn the whole rotor smooth and the grinding went away.

Brand new rotors too, hence my confusion.

I got a feeling kinda like this when Discount Tire didn't tighten the lug nuts on one my front wheels.

Any chance you installed ceramic pads?

I don't know if the pads installed were ceramic or not, to be honest. Would that make a difference? I took car to a different shop that for an oil change this afternoon and mentioned it to them. They took all 4 tires off, checked everything and didn't see anything amiss. Even test drive it for a bit but weren't about to duplicate the problem.... Which I figured would be the case since it happens so intermittently.

When put ceramic pads on my trucks, regardless of which brand, when I stopped hard, they always had a feel like they were grinding metal on metal. I took all of them apart and everything check out and so I just chalked it up to be a side effect of the pads.

If they checked them out and there isn't any fresh clean metal showing anywhere and nothing is actually rubbing, then, hard to diagnose. I hate intermittent problems.

Park outside?

Minor rusting from rotors overnight.

Always parked inside.

I'll keep monitoring it and see if it happens again. Hoping that maybe having the tires all rotated and brakes checked out yesterday somehow magically causes the problem to go away lol.

The time when my wife was in the car with me and it did it while I was driving was enough for her to even feel the sensation of the grinding from the passenger seat. When it happens it's very noticeable
