Anyone know where I can request a build sheet for a Ford. I've done it with GM in the past but not with ford.

FYI - discovered build sheet for my 2023 f150 is not accurate after haggling w/ my insurance co for a couple of weeks after they totaled it. Apparently Ford likes to play games with what packages are included and then saying they are giving a discount for some package they never actually included to begin with.

I would question the build sheet your insurance used. If you bought new, there are serious legal implications of providing an inaccurate Monroney.

Actually I reviewed the build sheet that was pulled with the vin by JD Powers and progressive insurance and compared with my window sticker. And yes, there are legal implications for what Ford is doing because it is very deceptive and likely a DTPA violation. From my 2023 f150 xlt truck, I have the 302A package. Specifically I had the sport version. On the build sheet 302A includes the chrome package AND the sports package. However, you can't have both (ie: chrome bumper and a painted bumper). The sticker doesn't specifically list chrome or sport - rather it just shows it includes the 302A package. On the window sticker Ford prices the 302A package at $5,955 (there is not a separate price for chrome and sport so they include both in the pricing). They include the $5,955 to get to the "Total Before Discounts" on the sticker = $57,700. Then they make it look like they are giving you a deal when they subtract $2,000 from $57,700 as a discount for "XLT Chrome or Sport" for a "Total Savings $2,000." However, the $2000 is the price of the chrome that was never included but they make it seem like I'm getting a deal. The dealer even included that when they advertise their total dealer discounts. It's not a "discount" for something you don't receive. Hope that made sense. I had to go to the manager of the supervisor of my claims adjuster at Progressive who couldn't figure it out looking at the build sheet and he had to call ford to confirm this was the case.
As a result, all of the comps my insurance co used has the 302A package so they assume they are all chrome versions so they adjust by (1) reducing the value of my truck by $1,425 for "listed but not present OEM XLT chrome Appearance Package" and (2) increasing the price of comps to add "XLT sport appearance" of between $1,121.96 - $1,334.81. But obviously they deduct more from my vehicle than they add to the comps.
