Even better, it was a 1 owner car from Georgia with service at a dealership every 5k.

Now it gets to follow the proper gx\land cruiser story arc: 1st owner is an upper middle class woman, 2nd owner is a 30 something who is going to take it to heinous places off road.

Longer term I will replace the single use rock sliders (running boards) with rci off-road sliders, might get some aftermarket skid plates just to make oil changes easier, and am considering an exhaust. This is my first V8 and I like how it sounds in the cabin when you get on it. Will have to balance the joy of a V8 exhaust note with noise level when I take it on longer road trips.

Nice, it looks familiar. Back when we replaced our white 16 gx with a grey 23 gx, I listed the 16 here and a young Aggie flew into Houston from Denver to buy it and drive it home. Iirc it had 103k miles and had only had a couple trips to Lexus for service- door lock actuators, replaced radiator after a slight crack at the neck, and all wheel alignment. The alignment was done about every 25k as it would start pulling slightly, so I did that before adding new tires. Great vehicles.
