If the vehicle has power to the rear view mirror, look at a Dongar adapter to plug into and avoid messy wires/wiring.

Not sure I would trust a wireless dash cam. Do you have to recharge it, solar powered? You want it on all the time recording. Dongar adapter as mentioned if your rearview has power, but the wiring really is not difficult. If not comfortable doing it though there are plenty of places that will install for you.

I have a Viofo A119 w/ a Dongar rear view mirror plug and the install was very easy & looks clean.

I've used these in 3 cars and they are my vote. The plastic molding isn't always perfect, as the company prints the shell to match the cars cover, but it's good enough.

Quality is 4k and it's really easy to access the cameras WiFi to get video.

Thanks for the feedback, I was hoping somebody on here had experience with them. Are you using front only or front and back? If you are using the rear camera as well, where did that hook up to for power?

THe back camera hooks into the front camera for power and to send the videos back to the card. So you'll mount the front camera and then wire a wire to the back. Typically just between the headboard and door frame is how I've done mine. Way easier than I thought it would be also.

I love the look of the Fitcamx but I've heard the camera itself is not great. What has your experience been?

I use a viofo A229 similar to the one pictured above in my truck and my son's car, my wife has a vantrue N4 in her car.

I'm just using the front.
