I have never owned a diesel but need a truck with more power for towing especially up hill. Looking at a 2015 Ram 2500 Tradesman with a 6.7L I6 cummins turbo diesel 127,500 miles, It has a new turbo on it with a factory warranty on part and labor. I've done web searches and as any vehicle it has some complaints about different things. Anyone on your own one or no of some specific reason why they should not be a good buy?

When I was looking I thought the used diesel prices were just way too high I decided to go new and the new ram 8speed vs a 68rfe may be worth it.

Out that was a problem that year and took Ram dealer forever to figure out I was losing all my coolant through the crack and it was goi g right through the turbo and gumming it up. They wanted like $7k to replace Intercooler, I got a used one from a place here in town installed for $2500. About. A month after that the turbo went out. $6-7k quote to replace and I traded it in for a new 2020. Glad you have warranty on the turbo. If you notice it losing g coolant and not finding any puddles that what's happening.
