I have a Ford F250 with CarPlay and an iPhone with iOS 18.7.2. One of them must have recently updated the software because they are not working well together. There are several issues but the most annoying is that my phone will auto connect to the WiFi in the in pick-up but because it is on a WiFi, the phone tries to receive data from the Ford but it does not provide data. The WiFi is just used to communicate with the phone. So then I sometimes receive a message (but not always) to use cellular data. After I select cellular data, it works fine.
I never had any of these issues. They just started a few month ago? Is anyone else having issues with their iPhone and the interface with Ford CarPlay?
