I just installed a Viofo in my wife's truck. Pretty easy tucking the rear camera wiring up under the headliner.

My son and I both have this one in our trucks. No complaints at all. It's the Red Tiger with both front and rear facing cameras.

You don't want inward?

If you don't mind spending money, Blackvue is very good.

Otherwise, the Amazon major players are decent, viofo and Vantrue, and red tiger. I no longer recommend Rexing (even though I still run a few) due to their cameras randomly resetting over and over after about 18 mos of service.

Wolfbox has some neat stuff including a new setup with a grille/bumper cam that can also help as a parking aid.

Just bought this for my Bronco, but haven't installed yet. Saw it on a friend's ride and looks pretty sweet.

After my last camera died, I went with a Blackvue. Best and easiest to use app out of any camera I've had.

If the truck has any power to the rearview mirror, look into the Dongar connection for powering it. I have Rexing dash cam and it has been solid for five years and was easy to wire for front to rear in my F150.

I bought at Wolfbox back when I had a camper shell because my rearview mirror was useless; one of the major selling points was the integration of front/rear dash cams and the mirror.

Since moving to a flatbed, I mounted the rear camera up on my headache rack and it gives me a great view of my trailer plus the traffic lanes on either side. Really much more useful than a standard mirror.

This may be of interest to you. This guy does a really good job of reviewing products.
