Just wondering if you guys can tell off of this picture what the leak is likely from and how costly repair might be?

2014 Honda Accord V6

Noticed a burning oil smell for the last week after parking in garage and finally pulled off the engine cover this morning and I see this....

I did clean off the area just above what I believe is the the oxygen sensor in the center of the picture. There was some oil residue on that area as well. Car running fine but the smell is noticeable. No leaks on ground

assuming you haven't topped off the oil recently, i'm going with valve cover gasket

I'd try to clean up as much of the residue on the valve cover as I could and wait.

Your radiator fans could be blowing it back up above the valve cover leak or it could have been a spill the last time oil was added.

What did the underside of your engine cover look like? Was it oily directly over the area with the residue?

Ignore it until the valves start making a ticking sound. That's how the women in my family do it.

Check the oil fill cap to see if it has a rubber o-ring or seal on it and that it hasn't been cross threaded. Or first that it isn't loose.

Looks like a PCV in upper right corner of of valve cover near the oil fill cap could also be seeping.

Past that it could be a cracked valve cover in the area that is seeping or the coil seals in the valve cover are leaking.

You can easily check to see if the coil seals are leaking by taking off the ignition coils to check for oil pooling in spark plug hole.

Fast forward to 2:22 in this video for PCV r&r.

I second the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube o-rings. A kit similar to this should be an easy DIY job.
