Dealership pictures. It is currently in transit from St. Louis. One of my top 5 favorites of all time.....and I was not going to buy a 959, 288 GTO, Countach or M1. Only 14k miles and 100% original.

Can't help but think of the Wolf in Pulp Fiction when I see one.

Very nice car!

Are you just going to park it in a warehouse like the previous owners?

No. I am going to put it in a small collectors garage in Arkansas and drive it a couple thousand miles a year.

Excellent. I assume we'll get some more pictures when it arrives?

What is your goal here? Your tone indicates that you either question my MO and/or question whether I bought it at all.

Acura? It's basically the same as my wife's Honda Odyssey, right?

This may be the greatest Rule 1 of all time. That's my dream car since the first time I saw one

Same, 100%. My third car, ironically, was a 1991 Integra 5 speed (this is a '91 if I did not mention). Based on my socio-economic status at the time it was my favorite car. But always thought the NSX was incredibly sexy. I have not been this excited in a long time.

3.0. I don't think the 3.2 came out until 1997.

Yeah, I think that's right, but either way it's a beautiful and highly desirable car. Congrats.

Nice. In Australia, they were rare but they were called the Honda NSX.

And when I first started working for Dell in Austin in 1997, Michael was still driving his black one before he upgraded to an S500 Mercedes (not sure if that's an upgrade but, it was probably a Protection model - I hope).

Anyway, some dude who worked for Dell in Round Rock 1 bought Michael's old NSX and I'd see it all the time at work.

Obligatory - "that's 30 minutes away, I'll be there in 10"

My 3rd car was a 1990 Integra 5-Speed. Always loved that car other than the seat belts. I'm currently driving a 2023 TLX Type S and love every minute of it. I was bummed that Acura discontinued the TLX because I was hoping for a '27 refresh when I'll be due for a new car.

I used to love those back in the 90's. Acura didn't do justice to the name with the latest generation (from a styling perspective).

Very nice! Smart move not looking at 959's or M1s.

My buddy talked to Bruce Canepa about buying a 959. Said the maintenance would kill him to keep it running. He bought an M1 instead but never drives it. Sits in a car garage.

Assuming based on username you are c/o '98 like me, there was student who drove one during our time in Aggieland. I always saw it at University Tower and northside campus parking lots and it's been one of my favorite cars ever since. Never met the lucky 18 yr old sob that got to drive that thing.

Oh no, I'm just enjoying living vicariously through you. My first neighbor in Austin had a black NSX… parked next to my often partially disassembled '84 4runner. He and I didn't run in the same circles.

No worries, buddy. I have had multiple posters **** on me for prior purchases, so I am a little sensitive.

And I don't run in any circles…..don't have time for that stuff at 53.

It's none of your business what others think of you.

Maybe consider a circle... you're only 53.

Merry Christmas!
