I am thinking about getting a new 2500 ZR2 with the 6.6 gas engine. Does anyone have one that they would like to share their thoughts on?

Following. It's on the top of my list but keep leaning towars LTZ z71

I've got a 24 diesel 2500 zr2. I like mine. Not exactly what you're looking at but i could probably answer some of your questions

I have one that's 6 months old. I pull trailers often and it has no issues with any load. I had a 5.7 Tundra and this has much more power

If open, I plan on going tomorrow and test driving it. I have noticed that there is no trim level listed, only ZR2. The pictures and description look like it is basically a High Country trim, would you agree?

It might be slightly under a high country in trim. But not much. The biggest difference is the automatic lift and bigger tires.

My brother in law, the one in Corpus, had an older Canyon until neighbors backed into his street parking, but I'm not familiar with newer model GM trucks.

No, I think it is called Forest Green, it is a no joke green. That sucker is tall though. I am an average dude at 5'10, and it is not easy to just jump in. It did not have running boards, so those were ordered last night to help with mounting and dismounting this thing. Today I am getting a bed tool box and that will pretty much end any mods to it.

EDIT: I just checked, and the green is called Woodland Green. It also has the Black Essentials package.

I had to google, that's a badass color. We need photos

Woodland green seems to be a special color. I'd never seen it until recently, if popped up in the search. Might have been yours. Would love to see one in person. I wish they'd bring back forest green from the 90s.

So far I am averaging 14.2 in mixed driving and 10.2 pulling a 24 foot travel trailer. So far I am really liking it.

Year end business purchase but drives great so far.

If you'll excuse my piling on, I called a local dealer about a Denali Ultimate. It wa sold, but they just got in an SLT with about 1300 miles on it. I want a diesel, it's a gas, or I would have taken a look. Maybe some of you are interested.

Beautiful truck, the green color is nice. I purchased a 2025 2500 4x4 with the gas engine and love it. It is my primary vehicle and we pulled a 34' camper last summer with no problem. Hope you like the truck!
