My wife has been looking for specific 2023-25 Hyundai Palisade, which has been way harder to find than it should. There is a decent one in Texas, and the AutoCheck looks pretty good as far as damage/accident, but it shows as fleet owned and repossessed. Is anyone in the business able to find better info on things if I provided the VIN: KM8R54GEXRU673834. Thanks in advance.

Nothing major but likely not taken care of

Looks like you will need new tires soon should you purchase.

Thanks for the responses, I knew TexAgs would come through quickly. This is great info. I'd love this as we are looking to find something. Is this something I could get a monthly subscription to or is this an industry insider type thing?

It's MMR from Manheim, you have to be a dealer to access.
Just so happens this one is for sale so we can see the inspection report which is pretty lucky.

Ok, thanks for the info. So for $35,000 does this seem like a take or pass?

The lower mileage seems good but like you said, probably not taken care of.....and needs new tires pretty immediately.

Remind me again what cars you sell? New only, or used?

Looking for a Sierra 2500hd. Would love a Denali Ultimate, Denali, or well equipped SLT. Used up to about 40,000 miles okay, crew cab diesel a must.

Problem is I'm cheap. Seems like we get to spend minimum of $70k list price for one of these. Would like to find better deal.

Also, don't want black or white paint, sure don't want black interior, which cuts out about 80% of the trucks.

Should I quit being cheap and buy new?

I swore I'd never have a vehicle with a black interior. The last one and the current vehicle changed that. I'll hit 8 years of owning a vehicle with a black interior next month. Air conditioned seats changed everything. Even the steering wheels don't seem to get as hot as the old plastic ones from the 80s. We're both old enough to remember the vinyl of the 70s & 80s that when hot, could burn the skin right off of you, but the materials of today don't seem to be as bad.

Download auto trader and put all that in. Start searching and messaging dealerships.

Also you know a Denali Ultimate is like $100k new right?

This and ceramic tint to all windows. Nothing like it used to be.

I've been beating Autotrader up all week, looking for a pickup. Just thought I'd ask a guy in the business to see if he had inside info.

As far as the ungodly prices for a new Denali ultimate, that's why I'm also looking at non-Ultimate, as well as SLTs.

Unfortunately, even dropping to SLT doesn't drop the price a lot. And I'm still against black seats, I think they are ugly, regardless of comfort. The pool of SLTs with seats other than black is about 1 in 50

And I don't want a white pickup, limiting choice more

Best I've done is a couple of 2024 Non-ultimate Denalis, about 30k miles, $70,000 before tax

Understand, glad you're happy with black. I can't get past the color, regardless of A/C

Lol, yes back to the Hyundai.

I never thought I'd be looking at a Hyundai or Kia, I'm a truck guy, but my wife's good friend has one and she just thinks she loves it. This has been a huge pain in the butt because they've had a manufacturer recall because of a seatbelt issue, which has kind of screwed up the typical supply of these cars from what I understand.

One more VIN if anyone is able to help, I appreciate it.
