That's what I thought until my valve body failed at 75k.

Gas. 2021. Had nothing but oil changes and routine maintenance until one day it decided to not want to move while in drive (reverse worked).

My wife's 2023 6.2L just blew… after the recall inspection and change in oil being used.
We knew it was coming based on previous issues they couldn't replicate.
They are replacing it for free and there is a 150k 10 year warranty, but it's still a PITA.

God willing, my next truck will have a "Godzilla".
The Ford "Godzilla" engine is a family of large-displacement, naturally aspirated V8 gasoline engines, primarily the 7.3L, designed for heavy-duty applications in Ford Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans, known for its robust overhead valve (OHV) pushrod design, cast-iron block, forged crankshaft, and reliability for work and towing, also popular as a crate engine for hot rods due to its simple, powerful, and tunable nature, though early versions saw some lifter issues.

Ford 5.0…hopefully (since that's what I chose last year for my F150)?
