yea, I've seen a couple of videos like this one. I've also seen a couple of videos refuting this. all that to say, i wouldn't buy one of these for long time.

What's interesting is that they are saying this for multiple years of manufacturing.

Does not pass the smell test at all.
Has to be a design flaw.

plus, some people have reported failures with the replacement engines. some of that my be bad install related. but, some are the same failure.

Reminder about oil viscosity from manuals overseas. This is for the V35A-FTS in a Land Cruiser in Europe. 0W-20 is recommended for fuel economy. The only reason it's stamped on our oil caps and in our manuals is to meet CAFE standards. I'd use 10W-30 here in Texas.
