I really would like to purchase this MB as a used vehicle. I am looking at from 2019 to probably 2022. Does anyone have positive or negative opinion of this route? And any recommendations/suggestions?

Buy it CPO. If you plan to keep it do the CPO extension as well.

If you need some help let me know and I can get you in touch with the right Aggie

Thank you for your response, Scott.

The difference between CPO and non-CPO is about $11k. Can you purchase a used vehicle from a non-MB dealership, then take it to a MB dealership to purchase the extended warranty?

We have a 2017 GLE 43 AMG SUV. Really like it.

Believe it or not... the engine isn't all that different. V8 biturbo. You got a cooler car and more HP! I would say the AMG maintenance is higher. Brakes etc.

Would like to replace a Porsche with one of those.

Good luck hunting!

No, you'd have to buy it CPO at time of purchase. You can buy an OEM warranty on a "like new" used car, but that's typically only an exception in the 6-8k mile mark max.

History and maintenance is a big thing to get some scope on for these models. Phenomenal car, but you can run through that $11k quickly.

I would advise you that any third party warranty won't serve you well. I have a buddy with a SL 500 that can't get his tuckable hard top repaired. So the CPO is likely worth $11k IMHO. That on a really high end MB.
