FWIW this is what AI thinks:

Custom and "Restomod" Values
Because the truck in your image features significant modificationsincluding custom exposed exhaust headers and a modified bedit falls into the "Restomod" or "Custom" category, which often commands higher prices:
  • Heavily Modified/Show Quality: Professional custom builds from this era can sell for $55,000 to $65,000 or more.
  • Custom Drivers: Modified 1937 pickups in good, drivable condition typically list between $27,000 and $44,000.
  • Recent Comparable Sale: A modified 1937 Chevrolet GC pickup recently sold at auction for $16,750 in January 2026.
The final value depends heavily on the quality of the mechanical upgrades (engine, transmission, suspension) and the fit and finish of the custom bodywork.
Good looking truck. Are you looking to buy it, or sell it?

Thanks for the info and I want to sell it. I have too many vehicles and am getting up in age. They are not as fun as they used to be. Besides the 37 I have an 83 C-10 short bed that I did a ground up resto on, my grandfather's 68 Ford F-100 that I have completed the frame and drive train but needs body work, paint and interior done and a cruiser MC based on an 89 to 94 soft tail frame.

Straight talk: it looks nice, but these things never sell for what you think they could because the market is so limited. The custom bed probably takes away value, too.

I was thinking $10k will probably sell it within a few weeks. $15k within a few months.
No AC really hurts it in the south. It's a shame a cool looking truck like that doesn't bring more.

It was actually a flat bed from the factory. It originally belonged to my wife's great uncle and aunt who had a potato farm up in ND. Her aunt sold the farm and the new owners wanted the truck gone. I asked her husband , my wifes's blood uncle how much they wanted and he said they had an offer of $600 from a guy in SC. I said I'll give you $650 and he said sold. Me and a high school buddy hooked up a trailer and drove from here in Spring Branch, TX to Northwood, ND, loaded it up and hauled it back down here. Thanks for the link
