My wife was driving down Main in Houston, and a lady cut across two lanes into hers. Did not have time to stop. Her front passenger side bumper hit the rear driver side bumper of the other car as it crossed into her lane. Who would be at fault?
A witness stopped and gave my wife his card. Trying to decide whether to file a claim or not. The other woman did not provide insurance, and claimed her car was a rental. My wife has a few claims on her record already so we are concerned about insurance rates going up.
