How cramped is the back row of seats?

Looking at the X3 and the Gran Coupe but really don't what another crossover vehicle.

The X3 is too dang smalll IMO. We looked at them and passed. Had to get to X7 to be comfortable.

i have a 2 door 4 series. i looked closely at the gran coupe, the rear seats were on the small side for sure but we wouldn't use them for much anyway so it wasn't really a factor. if the driver is tall or drives with a gangsta lean it's gonna be tight behind them.

The X3 is way larger in the back seat than the Gran Coupe. I'm 5'-11" and NFW I'd wanted to sit in the back of my 435 Gran Coupe. I've sat in an X3 and had plenty of room.

I'd say just get the 5 series if you want a sedan with a comfy backseat.

I went and looked at the 4 series and am now leaning to the 5 series.

Friday before last I tried working out of the backseat of my 7 Series.

Plenty of room for the laptop and comfortable seating. I just couldn't get enough Internet out of my T-Mobile connected phone hotspot so I had to switch to Starbucks

Remind me what year yours is again?

I love BMW's but their current styling isn't my cup of tea.

If you like the coupe look over a sedan, the 8 series grand coupe is another option with a bigger back seat than the 4GC.

The previous 6 series GC is one of BMW's better looking cars in the last 20 years IMO and have really dropped in value if you're comparing used.

I was looking to buy new or with very low miles and I think the 6 series stopped production in 2019?

The 8 series GC replaced it in 2018, but there are low mile 2019s M6GCs that have taken a decent depreciation hit already. The non-M versions have depreciated even more, but I'd stick with an M car to keep a bit of value plus you get led headlights, 360 cameras, massage front seats, soft close doors, etc.

No touchscreen option for the idrive feels dated when using carplay, but I think the rest of the interior holds up well. Just another option to consider. My non-GC has been pretty problem free

2014 - I just had to have a V-12, in the same way that in 1998, I just had to have a Jeep CJ-7.

So far, the BMW is proving to be a better buy.

And like you, I don't like the BMWs with the gigantic grilles.
